TINY DANCERS (ages 2-3)

In our “Tiny Dancers” class your student will begin to learn the basic movements incorporated in dance. Students will continue to work on the development of motor skills (right and left, colors, counting & more!). Acro matts used for tumbling and animal walking. Props are also used. This class allows a parent/guardian to sit in the class and we hope have fun participating as well!

Hip Hop & Acro (ages 3-5)

In our Hip Hop & Acro class we teach basic movements of hip hop (routines and independent steps). Basic acro moves used with matt including forward rolls, crab walks, frog jumps, and more! Freeze dance and props used. This is a recital class, so we’re very excited for you all to see what we have done throughout the year!

Creative Movement (ages 3-5)

In our Creative Movement class we are introducing students to the basics of ballet, learning different positions, steps and routines for choreography. Students get a chance to dance on their own and props are also used in this class. This is a recital class, so we’re very excited for you all to see what we have done throughout the year!

Creative Movement w/Tap (ages 4-6)

In Creative Movement with Tap students will begin to learn ballet and tap techniques. This class incorporates barre work for both ballet and tap. There is middle floor work, routines and choreography in two styles! This is a recital class, so we’re very excited for you all to see what we have done throughout the year!

“MINI” Ballet/Tap Competition

Our mini group focuses on the development of ballet and tap techniques. Working with barre, down the floor and middle work independently and as a group. Competition teams compete for trophies and work closely as a team, building leadership roles. This is a recital class, so we’re very excited for you all to see what we have done throughout the year!

Ballet

Depending on the age and level of the ballet class, technique and curriculum will differ. Ballet is the foundation for many variations of dance (including hip hop, jazz, contemporary and more!). Our ballet classes focus on building each students technique. Barre is included in all classes. Combinations, routines and choreography given depending on level. Ballet classes are also recital pieces.

Hip Hop

Depending on the age and level of the Hip hop class, style and technique may differ. Hip Hop offers a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, strengthening and body conditioning. Classes will encourage students to find their own style while learning techniques, routines and choreography.  This is a recital class, so we’re very excited for you all to see what we have done throughout the year!

Tap

Depending on the age and level of the Tap classes, technique and choreography will differ.  Tap classes are designed to help students develop rhythm, sound and personalized style. Students will learn different techniques and styles of tap.  Tap focuses on developing musicality and rhythmic movements.  Tap dances are also recital pieces. 

Acro

Acro/gymnastics is a class built around the safety and ability for a student to learn to mold (literally) their body into new contortions and tricks.  Classes are built around the age and experience level of the students and can range from beginner to advanced.   This class works on building flexibility and acrobatic techniques such as: cartwheels, handstands, back-bends and more! This is a recital class, so we’re very excited for you all to see what we have done throughout the year! 

Jazz

Jazz focuses on various style, turns, leaps and kicks!  From Broadway to contemporary, jazz is filled with fun and challenging combinations, isolations, and more.  Our jazz classes are based with a ballet technique, and styled for the right age and level.   This is a recital class, so we’re very excited for you all to see what we have done throughout the year! 

Contemporary/Technique

This is a structured class focused on building a student's technique with building flexibility, strength, foot work and overall control to perform moves.  Contemporary movements and routines, given with choreography.  Incorporated are variations of modern, ballet, jazz and more.   This is a recital class, so we’re very excited for you all to see what we have done throughout the year! 

Musical Theater

Looking for your student to be a triple threat!  Musical theater classes vary in ages and levels, and placement is per teacher recommendation.  Classes focus most often on signing, however incorporate theater dance and acting as well.   This is a recital class, so we’re very excited for you all to see what we have done throughout the year!
